Stealers Wheel est un groupe de rock écossais créé en 1972.
Biographie
Le groupe est notamment connu pour leur chanson de 1972 Stuck In The Middle With You, écrite par Gerry Rafferty et Joe Egan, et produite par Jerry Leiber & Mike Stoller. Elle a été utilisée en 1992 dans la bande originale du film de Quentin Tarantino Reservoir Dogs.
Après une période de grande renommée pour le groupe(6eme sur 100 aux USA et 8eme sur 100 en Grande Bretagne de l'année 1973) 1 million d'exemplaires vendus, les trois albums studio de Stealers Wheel sont restés longtemps indisponibles à la vente. Le label indépendant britannique Lemon Recordings a alors édité en 2004 et 2005 des versions remasterisées des albums. Tony Williams, Rod Coombes, Paul Pilnick et Tony Mitchell ont reformé le groupe en 2008.
