South Plaza ou Plaza Sud est une petite île de l'archipel des Galápagos qui a été créée par un soulèvement de lave. Elle est recouverte par une forêt de cactus géants et d'algues rouges où vivent de nombreux iguanes.
C'est une île stérile et aride qui consiste en de belles formations de Sesuvium qui montrent une couleur rouge vif pendant la saison sèche.
On peut y visiter I'Acantilado (la falaise), où se nichent des oiseaux exotiques ainsi que des colonies de loups de mer, d'iguanes terrestres, de mouettes blanches et de fous à pattes bleues.
