The Shaggs est un groupe de rock féminin américain des années 1960 composé de quatre sœurs.
Managé par leur père rêvant de gloire pour elles, le groupe des sœurs Wiggin n'eut aucun succès à son époque, leur album Philosophy of the World ne se vendit qu'à quelques centaines d'exemplaires. Malgré cela, des copies circulèrent dans les radios de la Nouvelle-Angleterre et construisirent la légende du plus mauvais groupe de rock du monde.
C'est aujourd'hui grâce à cette réputation que The Shaggs sont devenues un groupe culte et que leur unique album est aujourd'hui très prisé des collectionneurs.
