Rammellzee (ou RAMMΣLLZΣΣ), né en 1960 dans le Queens (New York), mort à Far Rockaway (Queens) le 27 juin 2010, est un artiste pluridisciplinaire américain. Sa mort a été annoncée le 29 juin 2010[1].
Rammellzee qualifie son travail de Futurisme gothique. Comme graffiteur, il a développé une théorie toute personnelle d'une guerre des lettres de l'alphabet. Son œuvre se décline sous forme de peintures, de sculptures et de performances mais il est aussi musicien, son premier disque, « Beat Bop » (1982) a eu une influence importante sur de nombreux rappeurs, notamment les Beastie Boys.
Rammellzee apparaît dans le film Downtown 81 (New York Beat Movie, titre original en 1981), Wild Style (1983) et dans le Stranger Than Paradise de Jim Jarmusch (1984).
