Principles of Geometry

Principles of Geometry est un groupe français de musique électronique originaire de Lille. Il s'agit d'un duo constitué de Guillaume Grosso et Jeremy Duval, largement inspiré par les jingles des VHS de leur enfance, les fictions SF de John Carpenter, ou par l’électro des labels anglais Warp et Skam.

Leur album Principles of Geometry réinvestit l’électronica, Le Courrier picard le défini comme : « Une relique de l'electro pour les générations à venir avec la nostalgie de ce qu’elle représenta l’espace d’un instant. »

La musique synthétique et analogique de Principles of Geometry a su séduire Sébastien Tellier (auteur de la BO du film Narco, représentant de la France au Concours Eurovision 2008...) qui a donné sa voix au morceau A Mountain For President de leur dernier album Lazare.

Le groupe est édité et distribué par le label parisien Tigersushi qui occupe une place à part grâce à un éclectisme affirmé et un goût pour l'underground.

Le groupe ne cesse de tourner depuis qu'ils ont trouvé une symbiose avec le batteur Alberto Malo en 2008. Ils peuvent également se présenter avec la même formation et AntiVj, producteur d'images 3D, pour un « Stereoscopic Show ».
