Arnuwanda II est roi des Hittites (1323 av. J.-C.–1322 av. J.-C.). Il succède à son père Suppiluliuma Ier, décédé d'une épidémie due aux prisonniers égyptiens qu'il avait ramenés avec lui d'une campagne victorieuse en Canaan.
Les documents hittites ultérieurs mentionnent le fait qu'Arnuwanda fut aussi touché par l'épidémie dont son père avait été victime. Son jeune frère, le futur Mursili II, l'aide dans les affaires des querelles de Hatti avec les terres de Kaska (ou Gasga) et d'Arzawa. À cette occasion, les deux frères écrivent à Karkiya (peut-être la Carie) qu'ils donnent l'asile à Manapa-Tarhunta, descendant légitime du défunt roi de la région de rivière Seha (ou Bakırçay), qui avait été renversé par un coup d'État. Cela permet à Manapa-Tarhunta de se rétablir dans son autorité sur la Seha (même si plus tard, il dénoncera l'alliance avec les Hittites).
Arnuwanda meurt finalement du mal contracté, et laisse le trône à son frère Mursili II, qui aura beaucoup moins profité que lui de l'éducation au règne que leur père avait prodigué surtout au fils aîné.
