Phelsuma andamanense est un gecko diurne et arboricole de taille moyenne (pour des Phelsuma), de couleur vert clair avec des points bruns et/ou rouges. On le rencontre parfois sous le nom de Phelsuma andamanensis, selon les sources.
Le nom de cette espèce vient du nom des îles Andaman, où l'on trouve cet animal.Sommaire
Répartition géographique
On rencontre cette espèce en Inde ainsi qu'aux îles Andaman et Nicobar. Elle vit dans les arbres tels que les bananiers et les palmiers, et fréquente parfois la proximité des habitations humaines.

Alimentation
Ce reptile est insectivore, et consomme des insectes et autres arthropodes de taille adaptée. Il consomme également probablement des nectars de fruits, comme la majorité des ses cousins Phelsuma.

Cette espèce est très territoriale, et en particulier les mâles protègent leur territoire contre les intrusions des autres mâles.
