Pentala Harikrishna (né le 10 mai 1986 à Andhra Pradesh en Inde) est un grand maître indien du jeu d'échecs.

Il est l'un des plus fort joueurs de son pays, après Viswanathan Anand et Krishnan Sasikiran. Harikrishna est devenu le plus jeune grand maître indien en 2001.

En novembre 2004, il remporte le championnat du monde junior. En août 2006, il termine premier du championnat du monde junior d'échecs aléatoires Fischer, battant Arkadij Naiditsch 4,5-1,5 en finale[1].

En avril 2008, son classement Elo est de 2679, le classant 41e joueur mondial et 2e joueur indien.
