Le PQ Family est un collectif marseillais, créé en 2005, principalement connu pour coller des affiches représentant des rouleaux de papier toilette.
Description
Ce collectif marseillais regroupe trois personnes ayant pour ambition de coller des affiches représentant des rouleaux de papier toilette géants sur les murs de différentes villes qu'ils traversent. Parmi ces villes, on peut citer Marseille, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Bruxelles et Barcelone[1].
Le choix du rouleau de papier toilette représenté sur les affiches est choisi par les membres pour plusieurs raisons :
« Le papier toilette, c'est fait pour essuyer la merde. C'est un objet dénigré car il touche ce qui est sale. Il est associé à un moment particulièrement privé et tabou. Pourtant, tout le monde reproduit le même geste, quelque soient ses opinions, son physique ou sa position sociale. C'est un objet fédérateur. Propager son image surdimensionnée au sein de l'espace public crée un décalage. C'est une manière d'estomper sa trivialité. Ça le rend drôle. »
