L'Office of Film and Literature Classification est une organisation chargée de l'évaluation de la censure et de la classification des films, jeux vidéo et publications en Australie.
Évaluation des jeux vidéo et des films
- E (Exempt from Classification) - tout public.
- G (General) - plutôt pour adultes et adolescents.
- PG (Parental Guidance) - autorisation parentale nécessaire.
- M (Mature) - contenu matûre.
- MA15+ (Mature Accompanied) – sous contrôle parental.
- R18+ (Restricted) - interdit au moins de 18 ans.
- X18+ (Pornographic) - interdit au moins de 18 ans. Contenu pornographique.
Les jeux et films ne rentrant pas dans ces critères sont classés en Refused Classification (RC).
Évaluation de la littérature
- Unrestricted
- Unrestricted Mature – Unrestricted – Mature- Not recommended for readers under 15 (non-recommandé aux lecteurs de moins de 15 ans)
- Restricted Category 1 – Restricted Category 1 – Not available to persons under 18 years (interdit aux moins de 18 ans)
- Restricted Category 2 – Restricted Category 2 – Pornographic in nature; restricted as above (nature pornographique, restriction maximale)
Les ouvrages ne rentrant pas dans ces critères sont classés en Refused Classification (Classification refusée).
