Nyack est un village situé dans le comté de Rockland, New York, États-Unis. Sa population était de 6 737 habitants en 2000. Le village est traversé par la New York State Thruway (Interstate 87) et la U.S. Route 9.

Géographie

Manhattan (New York) se trouve à une trentaine de kilomètres au sud de Nyack. Le village est situé à 41°5′33″N, 73°55′21″W. Selon le Bureau du recensement des États-Unis il s'étend sur 4,1 km², dont 2 km² de terre et 2,1 km² de plans d'eau (soit 51,88% de la superficie totale). Nyack se trouve sur la rive ouest de l'Hudson, au nord du Tappan Zee Bridge.

Histoire

Le village doit son nom aux Amérindiens Nyack qui habitaient dans la région. Le village s'incorpora en 1782.
