Nehama Leibowitz
Nehama Leibowitz (née en 1905 à Rīga, Lettonie - morte le 12 avril 1997 à Jérusalem), commentatrice du Pentateuque, est la jeune sœur de Yeshayahou Leibowitz (elle a deux ans de moins que lui). Son doctorat à l'université de Marburg porte sur les traductions judéo-allemandes du Livre des Psaumes[1]. Elle fait son Aliyah en 1930 et par principe ne quitte pas Israël, sauf en une brève occasion[2]. Elle a écrit plusieurs commentaires du Pentateuque, à usage extrêmement didactique.
