Mike Birch est un navigateur canadien. Il est né le 1er novembre 1931 à Vancouver au Canada.
Il commence très tard la course à la voile, mais se fait connaître par sa victoire dans la Route du Rhum en 1978. En effet, il gagne avec 98 secondes d'avance sur Michel Malinovsky.
