Michel Caillaud

Michel Caillaud, né le 10 avril 1957, est un compositeur de problèmes d'échecs français. Il fait partie des meilleurs compositeurs et solutionnistes mondiaux.

Ses problèmes ont été primés dans tous les genres et il est reconnu comme le spécialiste mondial de l'analyse rétrograde[1].

Au nombre de points obtenus dans les Albums FIDE, il arrive actuellement en 3e position avec 200,92 points, derrière Petko Petkov (333,50 points) et Hans-Peter Rehm (202,70 points).

Dans le classement mondial des solutionnistes il est actuellement en 13e position avec 2604 points.

Il a également été de multiples fois Champion de France de solutions et Champion de France de solutions de problèmes d'analyse rétrograde (titre spécifique à la France).
