Mel Blanc

Melvin Jerome Blanc, plus connu sous le nom de Mel Blanc (30 mai 1908 à San Francisco - 10 juillet 1989 à Los Angeles) est un comédien américain du XXe siècle spécialisé dans le doublage. Il a travaillé pour de nombreux studios d’animation, dont principalement Warner Brothers et Hanna-Barbera.

Il a interprété toutes les voix originales des personnages créés par Tex Avery et d'autres réalisateurs de la Warner ( Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Sam le pirate...).

Il était franc-maçon (Mid Day Lodge No.188).
