La mariolâtrie, qu'il faut distinguer du « culte marial », est une doctrine plaçant Marie de Nazareth comme l'égale de Dieu.
Cette doctrine fut particulièrement dénoncée par les protestants. Elle a été dénoncée à plusieurs reprises comme une déviation par l'Église catholique.
Au Canada existe une armée de Marie, un groupe sectaire qui se réclame de cette doctrine.
