Legion of Mary a été un groupe formé par Jerry Garcia du groupe de rock Grateful Dead. Le groupe a duré du 12 juillet 1974 au 5 juillet 1975.
Outre Jerry Garcia au chant et à la guitare, il été constitué de Merl Saunders (claviers et chant), John Kahn (basse), Martin Fierro (saxophone) et Ron Tutt (batterie).
Le groupe a principalement joué du blues et du funk musique lors de secs concerts. Le groupe pratiquait lors des concerts des solos prolongés d'improvisation comme celle de Grateful Dead.
Leur seul enregistrement officiel est est un double CD d'enregistrement de concert sorti sur Rhino Records en août 2005, sous le titre The Jerry Garcia Collection, Vol 1: Legion of Mary.
