Khorog (Tadjik : Хоруғ, ou également Khoroq, Khorogh, Khorugh, Xoroq) est la capitale du Haut-Badakhchan, une province autonome située dans la partie est du Tadjikistan. La population est de 28 000 habitants (en 2000). La ville est située à 2 200 mètres d'altitude dans les montagnes du Pamir à la confluence des rivières Gunt et Panj. Khorugh est connue pour ses beaux peupliers qui dominent la flore de la ville.
