Alwil Software

Alwil Software est une entreprise fondée en avril 1991 et basée à Prague, en République Tchèque. Elle est connue pour son logiciel antivirus Avast. Il est disponible en trois (3) versions principales : familiale (gratuite), professionnelle (payante), édition réservée aux serveurs (payante) et bien d'autres, comme des versions réservées à des PC tournants sous Linux. Elle propose également un logiciel annexe de son antivirus : Avast! Virus Cleaner, qui supprime les virus déjà présents dans l'ordinateur en effectuant une analyse plus poussée que le scanner fourni par défaut avec l'antivirus.
