Jon Steven Garland (né le 27 septembre 1979 à Valencia, Californie, États-Unis) est un lanceur droitier des Ligues majeures de baseball s'alignant avec les Dodgers de Los Angeles.

Garland a reçu une sélection au match des étoiles et a remporté la Série mondiale 2005 avec son ancienne équipe, les White Sox de Chicago.

Jon Garland est drafté le 3 juin 1997 par les Cubs de Chicago au premier tour de sélection (10e choix). Encore joueur de Ligues mineures, il est transféré le 29 juillet 1998 chez les White Sox de Chicago où il effectue ses débuts en Ligue majeure le 4 juillet 2000.

Il participe au Match des étoiles de la Ligue majeure de baseball en 2005.

Après huit saisons chez les White Sox de Chicago et une avec les Angels de Los Angeles d'Anaheim, Jon Garland a signé un contrat comme agent libre en janvier 2009 avec les Diamondbacks de l'Arizona[1].

Le 31 août 2009, Garland est passé aux Dodgers de Los Angeles en retour d'un joueur à être nommé ultérieurement[2].

En janvier 2010, Garland signe un contrat d'un an et une année d'option avec les Padres de San Diego[3].

À son unique saison chez les Padres, Garland mérite 14 victoires en 33 départs. Le 26 novembre 2010, il rejoint à nouveau les Dodgers de Los Angeles, avec qui il signe un contrat pour la saison 2011 avec une année d'option pour 2012[4].
