John Pulman (1923-1998) fut un joueur professionnel anglais de snooker, qui a remporté 7 fois le championnat du monde de 1964 à 1969.

John Pulman est devenu le plus jeune champion amateur anglais de l'époque, en remportant le titre en 1946.
Il a participé pour la première fois au championnat du monde en 1947, mais a perdu au tour de qualification contre Albert Brown, qu'il avait battu l'année précédente en finale amateur.
Il remporte le championnat du monde 7 fois entre 1964 et 1969. Sa dernière apparition dans le Crucible était en 1980 quand il a perdu au premier tour.
Il prend sa retraite en 1982, suite à un accident, mais continue à s'impliquer dans le jeu en tant que commentateur de télévision.
Pulman est mort le jour de Noël 1998, des suites des blessures due à une chute dans un escalier[1]).
