John Foxx, né Dennis Leigh, le 26 septembre 1947 à Chorley, est un musicien et chanteur britannique. Fondateur du groupe Ultravox, précurseur de la New wave, il le quitte en 1978 pour se lancer dans une carrière en solo.

Son premier album, Metamatic est à la croisée des chemins entre electro-pop et coldwave.
