Joe Miller (né le 6 octobre 1900 à Morrisburg en Ontario au Canada — mort le 12 août 1963) est un ancien joueur professionnel canadien de hockey sur glace qui évoluait au poste de gardien de but.

Biographie

Miller débute sa carrière professionnelle avec les Saints de St Paul dans l'Association américaine de hockey en 1926.

En 1927, il est engagé par les Americans de New York de la Ligue nationale de hockey. Cette même saison, les Rangers de New York disputent la finale de la Coupe Stanley contre les Maroons de Montréal. Le gardien titulaire des Rangers, Lorne Chabot, se blesse lors du 2e match de la série. Le lendemain, Miller signe un contrat pour le remplacer et il remporte la Coupe trois matchs plus tard en n'ayant accordé que 3 buts et réussi un blanchissage.

Il signe ensuite avec les Pirates de Pittsburgh avec lesquels il passe deux saisons. Il rejoint ensuite les Quakers de Philadelphie pour une saison avant de terminer sa carrière professionnelle dans la Ligue internationale de hockey avec les Stars de Syracuse.
