Maurice (Jock) James Bowie Hobbs (né le 15 février 1960 à Christchurch, en Nouvelle-Zélande) est un ancien joueur de rugby à XV qui a joué avec l'équipe de Nouvelle-Zélande. Il évoluait au poste de troisième ligne aile (1,85 m pour 92 kg).

Carrière
Jock Hobbs a disputé son premier test match avec l'équipe de Nouvelle-Zélande le 4 juin 1983, à l’occasion d’un match contre les Lions britanniques. Il disputa son dernier test match contre l'équipe de France, le 15 novembre 1986.
Il fut seize fois capitaine des All-Blacks.
