Jihaz al-Mukhabarat al-Amma
Jihaz al-Mukhabarat al-Amma (arabe:جهاز المخابرات العامة) est un service de renseignement de l'Égypte. Des autres services de renseignement sont Idarat al-Mukhabarat al-Harbyya wa al-Istitla et Jihaz Mabahith Amn al-Dawla. Il était établit dans les années 1950. Pendant plusieurs années son nom était connu seulement aux hauts fonctionnaires et aux rédacteurs en chef des journaux du gouvernement. Omar Suleiman est le chef de Jihaz al-Mukhabarat al-Amma chef depuis 1993. Son prédécesseur était Nour El Dien Afeefy, à partir de 1991.
