Jervis Mc Entee (né le 14 juillet 1828 et mort le 27 janvier 1891) était un peintre américain de l' Hudson River School.
Biographie
Jervis McEntee ne fait pas partie des peintres américains les plus réputés du XIXe siècle, mais il a été le compagnon et ami de nombreux peintres plus célèbres. En dehors de la peinture, Mc Entee tenait un journal, qu'il écrivit des années 1870 à sa mort, et où il offre un portrait des artistes de la Hudson River school, mais aussi un regard global sur l'art aux États-Unis dans la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle.
