Ingram Micro est un distributeur de produits technologique (ordinateurs, télévisions, jeux vidéo etc... ) au niveau mondial. la firme est basée à Santa-Ana (Californie). Elle est cotée en bourse (NYSE:IM). Ses parts sont majoritairement détenues par la famille Ingram, opérateurs industriels basés à Nashville, (Tennessee).
Ingram Micro initialement firme privée du groupe Ingram Industries, a débuté son développement international par le rachat en juin 1989 de la firme Softinvest détentrice des sociétés Softeurop[1] en Belgique, en France et aux Pays-Bas. Une très active politique de création et de reprises[2] a suivi en Italie, dans l'Europe et sur les cinq continents.
