Inawashiro-machi

Inawashiro (猪苗代町, Inawashiro-machi?) est un bourg japonais situé dans la préfecture de Fukushima (région du Tōhoku). Le bourg est près du lac Inawashiro (un des plus grands lacs japonais). Durant la période Edo, il appartenait au domaine Aizu. Il s'agit du lieu de naissance du docteur Hideyo Noguchi, célèbre pour avoir découvert l'agent pathogène de la maladie de la syphilis.

En 2010, le bourg comptait 15 847 habitants pour une superficie de 395 km² (densité : 40 hab/km²).

En 2009, le bourg a accueilli les championnats du monde de ski acrobatique 2009.
