In the Maybe World
In the Maybe World est un album enregistré par Lisa Germano et réalisé en collaboration avec Jamie Candiloro en 2006 pour le label de Michael Gira, Young God Records (Swans, Devendra Banhart, Akron/Family...). On y retrouve la participation du guitariste Johnny Marr (The Smiths, Electronic, The The), du batteur Joe Waronker (R.E.M., Beck) et du bassiste Sebastien Steinberg (Soul Coughing, Marc Ribot, William Shatner, Neil Finn), tous trois déjà présents sur Lullaby for liquid Pig (2003), ainsi que des contributions des guitaristes, Craig Ross ('Golden Cities') et Brady Michaels ('Too much Space'). Il s'agit de son huitième album officiel. Il contient un hommage à Jeff Buckley et au chat défunt de Lisa Germano, Miamo Tutti. Bien que tournant autour des thèmes de la disparition, de la mort, de la solitude, il est décrit par Lisa Germano comme un album résolument optimiste.
