Ian Ogilvy est un acteur, scénariste et écrivain britannique, né le 30 septembre 1943 à Woking (Royaume-Uni).

Biographie

Sorti du prestigieux collège d'Eton, il débute une carrière d'acteur avec de nombreux petits rôles. Le sommet de sa carrière se situe en 1978 lorsqu'il est choisi pour succéder à Roger Moore dans le rôle de Simon Templar ; la série Le Retour du Saint ne durera qu'une seule saison de 24 épisodes.

Dans les années 80, il poursuit sa carrière aux États-Unis et épouse l'ancienne première femme de l'acteur Bruce Boxleitner.
