Henry De Vere Stacpoole (9 avril 1863 - 12 avril 1951) est un écrivain irlandais de la fin du XIXe siècle et début du XXe, né à Kingstown (maintenant Dún Laoghaire) en Irlande.
Son œuvre la plus connue est une nouvelle romantique publiée en 1908, Le Lagon bleu, et adaptée 3 fois au cinéma depuis.
Il utilisa aussi le pseudonyme Tyler De Saix.
Médecin naval pendant plus de 40 ans, Stacpoole connaissait parfaitement les îles du Pacifique sud. Il a souvent puisé dans cette expérience pour décrire, dans ses livres, la nature et les cultures qui lui sont devenus familiers.
