Garl Brilledor est le chef du panthéon des gnomes, dans la cosmologie standard du jeu de rôle Donjons & Dragons. Il fut créé en 1980.

C'est une puissance supérieure d'alignement Loyal Bon. On le surnomme le Bouffon, mais aussi le Protecteur Vigilant, la Gemme sans Prix ou l'Étincelle Rusée. Le portfolio du dieu inclut la chance, et l'espièglerie entre autres.

Les clercs de Garl portent des casques lourds et des ceintures en or ; on les appelle les Brillants.

Jours saints

Le jour saint de Garl Brilledor se tient à chaque nouvelle lune, et on le prie dans des cavernes. On lui fait des offrandes d'or.

Relations

Dieu de la Chance, Garl est le chef du panthéon. Garl est l'allié, ou/et le parent de Baervan Ermiterrant, Baravar Sombretoge, Flandal Peau d'acier, Gaerdal Maindefer, Nebelun, et Segojan Hanteterre. Il s'oppose souvent à Urdlen.

Il est l'ennemi des kobolds et de leur dieu Kurtulmak. Selon la légende, Garl fit écrouler les tunnels de Kurtulmak.
