Found footage

Found footage est le terme anglais (littéralement « métrage trouvé ») désignant la récupération de pellicules impressionnées dans le but d'enregistrer un autre film. Cette pratique a pour ancêtre, en littérature, celle du centon. Cette pratique est très utilisée dans le cinéma expérimental depuis le lettrisme, en France, et, plus particulièrement Traité de bave et d'éternité, le film d'Isidore Isou (1951), et les travaux de Bruce Conner aux États-Unis, notamment A Movie (1958).
