La Fund Q est une fondation créée et dirigée par Hiroshi Yamauchi, l'ancien président de Nintendo.

La Fund Q est entièrement financée par Hiroshi Yamauchi et son rôle est d'aider financièrement les petits développeurs (travaillant pour Nintendo) n'ayant pas beaucoup de budget pour concevoir un jeu vidéo.
