Flame and the Flesh
Flame and the Flesh est un film dramatique américain fait par MGM en 1954. Ce film a été dirigé par Richard Brooks et produit par Joe Pasternak avec un scénarion d'Helen Deutsch basé sur une nouvelle d'Auguste Bailly.
Les vedettes de ce film étaient Lana Turner, Pier Angeli, Carlos Thompson et Bonar Colleano.

Autour du film
Ce film est un remake du film français de 1938 Naples au baiser de feu (réalisé par Augusto Genina avec comme acteurs Michel Simon et Tino Rossi) qui était lui-même un remake d'un film muet de 1925 du même nom. Ces deux versions étaient inspirées de la même nouvelle.
Le film a été tourné à Londres et à Naples.
Lana Turner, célèbre blonde, apparait dans ce film en brune.
