Acide gras synthase

L'Acide gras synthase est un complexe multienzymatique (dimère d'enzymes sous forme antiparallèles dépendant de l'acide pantothénique et du Coenzyme A), aussi connu sous le nom de FAS (Fatty Acid Synthase). Il est formé par 2 protomères dont la liaison se fait, et est facilitée lorsque la cellule présente un taux de élevé de fructose 1,6-diphosphate (indiquant un état de haute énergie cellulaire puisque c’est un produit intermédiaire de la glycolyse). Elle forme les acides gras à partir de malonyl-CoA

L’Acide Gras Synthase fonctionne avec 2 coenzymes :

  1. La 4-phosphopantéthéine (constituée d’une structure similaire au fragment non nucléotidique du Coenzyme A).
