F.A.O. Schwarz est le nom d'une chaîne de magasins de jouets, fondée en 1870 à New York par un immigrant allemand, Frederick August Otto Schwarz. Le nom original du magasin était Toy Bazaar. C'est le plus grand magazin de jouet au monde.
Le magasin de New York, situé sur la cinquième avenue au niveau de la 58e rue, est très fréquenté. Après avoir été fermé pendant presque un an, F.A.O. Schwarz a rouvert ses deux enseignes à New York et Las Vegas fin 2004. C'est le plus grand magasin de jouets au monde, devant le Toys'R us de New York.
En mai 2009, Toys "R" Us acquiert la marque[1]
