L'EDO ou Extended Data Out (« sortie des données améliorée ») est un format de mémoire vive (aujourd'hui dépassé pour la majorité des micro-ordinateurs).

La RAM EDO est apparue en 1995 (génération 386/486/Pentium). Caractérisée par la présence d'un petit tampon de mémoire cache, la mémoire EDO était 15 % plus rapide que la mémoire FPM qu'elle avait remplacée. Elle se présentait sous forme de barrettes DIMM de 30 ou 72 broches, et 144 broches en SO-DIMM (pour ordinateurs portables). Les fréquences disponibles étaient de 33 et 66 MHz. Mais comme elle n'acceptait pas des fréquences supérieures, elle a ensuite disparue au bénéfice de la SDRAM (vers 1997, génération Pentium II).
