Etgar Keret (en hébreu אתגר קרת), né le 20 août 1967 à Tel-Aviv, est un écrivain, scénariste de bande dessinée et cinéaste israélien. Son œuvre littéraire, principalement composée de nouvelles, est publiée en français aux éditions Actes Sud.

Le film Meduzot réalisé avec son épouse, Shira Geffen, a obtenu la Caméra d'Or au festival de Cannes en 2007. Ils ont un enfant ensemble.

Il a coécrit le scénario du film d'animation Le Sens de la vie pour 9.99$, inspiré de ses nouvelles.
