L'élocution désigne la façon d'une personne de s'exprimer. Elle peut être claire, facile ou rapide, laborieuse, hésitante ou saccadée. On peut travailler son élocution, c'est l'objet d'un art : la diction.
En Belgique, désigne aussi un exposé en plus de son sens original : Il a une élocution sur les abeilles à présenter en classe demain.
