Eddie and the Hot Rods est un groupe de pub rock anglais fondé en 1975 à Essex en Angleterre (Royaume-Uni) et qui fut également assimilé à la scène punk de la fin des années 70 pour sa jeunesse et son énergie.
Ils ont tourné avec les Sex pistols, The Clash, Dr Feelgood dans les années 1980.
Les Hots Rods ont joué plus de 6 000 concerts depuis leur débuts.[réf. nécessaire]
Simon Bowley, neveu du batteur d'origine (Steve Nichols) a rejoint le groupe avec Dipster à la basse.
