Divided government

Aux États-Unis, divided government (gouvernement divisé) se passe quand un parti contrôle la Maison Blanche et l'autre contrôle une chambre du Congrès ou les deux. Gouvernement divisé et un résultat de la séparation des pouvoirs aux États-Unis. Au début du XXe siècle, "divided government" a été rare. Cependant, ça devient plus en plus commun.
