L’active sensing est un code MIDI d'usage optionnel permettant à un instrument de détecter un problème de connexion.
Description
Après avoir reçu un premier code active sensing en provenance d'un émetteur (statut FEH), le récepteur, en l'absence de messages, s'attend à en recevoir d'autres à des intervalles d'au plus 300 millisecondes. Dans le cas contraire, il en conclut que la connexion est déficiente et agit en conséquence (un générateur de son coupe l'ensemble des ses voies, etc).
