Desmond Cory

Desmond Cory est un nom de plume que l'écrivain anglais Shaun Lloyd McCarthy utilisa entre 1951 et 1991. Il signa de ce nom plus de 40 romans et créera nombre de personnages récurrents, comme par exemple Johnny Fedora, un agent secret anglais. Cory écrivit aussi des scripts pour adapter les romans de Graham Greene (par exemple England Made Me). Quelques-uns de ses propres romans ont également été adapté au cinéma et en série télévisée.

Desmond Cory est probablement l'un des auteurs de romans policiers anglais les plus prolifiques. Son œuvre s'étale sur plus de 40 ans durant lesquels il employa plusieurs noms de plume.
