Alexandroúpoli
Alexandroúpoli (en grec moderne Αλεξανδρούπολη), ou Alexandroúpolis (en katharévousa Ἀλεξανδρούπολις) est un port du Nord-Est de la Grèce, sur la mer de Thrace, dans la province de Thrace. Elle est le chef-lieu du nome (préfecture) d’Évros et compte près de 50 000 habitants.
Alexandroúpoli a porté le nom turc de Dedeağaç jusqu’en 1920, date de la passation du pouvoir aux autorités grecques. Elle a été renommée en l’honneur du roi Alexandre Ier de Grèce.
Alexandroúpoli possède un aéroport (code AITA : AXD).
