David Lively

David Lively

David Lively est un pianiste américain de musique classique.

Il débute sa carrière à 14 ans en remplacement d'un collègue dans le Concerto pour piano d'Aram Khatchatourian avec l’Orchestre Symphonique de Saint-Louis[1].

En 1977 il remporte la quatrième place au Concours Musical International Reine Elisabeth de Belgique. Il participe plus tard, comme membre du jury de ce même concours, aux éditions 1999 et 2003[2].

Il dirige actuellement le Festival de Saint-Lizier dans les Pyrénées[3].

Il est le directeur des examens de l'École normale de musique de Paris[4].
