David L. Mills (né le 3 juin 1938) est un professeur américain d'informatique à l'Université du Delaware. On lui doit notamment la création du protocole Network time protocol (NTP), pour la synchronisation des horloges des systèmes informatiques.
Biographie
Il a travaillé sur de nombreux projets, principalement liés à Internet et a à ce titre participé à la rédaction de nombreuses Request for comments (RFC). On peut citer notamment :
