Dave Chappelle est un acteur, scénariste et producteur américain né le 24 août 1973 à Washington, District of Columbia (États-Unis).

Biographie

Peu connu en France, Dave Chappelle est sans conteste le comique le plus populaire de la télévision américaine des années 2000. Héritier d'un humour noir proche de Richard Pryor (acteur culte des Nuits de Harlem), son ton est engagé, décapant et parfois agressif, comme lorsqu'il joue une version « black » du président Bush. Adolescent, il entame à Washington sa carrière de one-man show, discipline par excellence du comique américain.
