Le céphalothorax est la partie antérieure du corps de certains arthropodes (crustacés, araignées…) résultant de la réunion, au cours de l'évolution, des deux parties antérieures, la tête et le thorax.
Chez les autres arachnides, le céphalothorax et l'abdomen peuvent être fusionnés comme chez les opilions ou les acariens.
Le céphalothorax des araignées porte les organes visuels, les pattes ambulatoires (au nombre de huit), les pattes-mâchoires (qui, chez les mâles, portent les organes d'accouplement), les chélicères (qui presque chez toutes les espèces permettent à l'araignée d'injecter son venin), la bouche et les ganglions céphaliques.
