Pleure, ô pays bien-aimé est un roman de l'écrivain sud-africain Alan Paton, publié en 1948. Contemporain des débuts de l'apartheid en Afrique du Sud, il dénonce la ségrégation raciale dont sont alors victimes les Noirs.
Il a été adapté à plusieurs reprises, sous le même titre, au cinéma, en 1951 par Zoltan Korda et en 1995 par Darrell Roodt, et en film repris d'une adaptation théâtrale en "tragédie musicale" par Kurt Weill et Maxwell Anderson, sous le titre Lost in the Stars), en 1974 par Daniel Mann.
